The mullahs’ regime tries to smuggle anything, like oil to Iraq and missiles to Yemen, and in both countries it serves terrorism.

A report issued by the United Nations Committee of Experts submitted to the Security Council after a year-long investigation confirms the sabotage role of the Iranian regime in Yemen.

The Yemeni Minister of Information, Muammar Al-Iryani, said that this report “confirmed what we have previously warned of a sabotage role for Iran in Yemen and Houthi militia’s acquisition of missile systems, including” ground “cruises and drones of Iranian-made Delta aircraft.

The report of the United Nations experts in charge of monitoring the arms embargo imposed on Yemen since 2015 stated that in 2019 the Houthi militia acquired new weapons, some of which have similar characteristics to those produced in Iran.

“In addition to the well-known weapons systems they have had so far, (the Houthis) are using a new type of Delta drone and a new type of land cruise missile,” the report said to the Security Council.

According to investigators, two trends appeared throughout 2019 that may violate the ban. The first trend is to transport parts that are commercially available in industrialized countries such as drone engines, which are delivered to the Houthis through a group of intermediaries.

The second trend is for the Houthis to continue to deliver machine guns, bombs, anti-tank missiles and more advanced cruise missile systems.

The report pointed out that the non-military and military items “appear to have been sent through a smuggling route that runs through Oman and the southern coast of Yemen, all the way to Sana’a,” which is controlled by the Houthis.

Investigators confirmed that it was “unlikely” that the Houthis would be responsible for the attacks on Saudi oil facilities on September 14, 2019, even though they adopted them.

The experts said they “identified a Houthi network involved in the repression of women who oppose the Houthis, including the use of sexual violence, led by the official of the criminal investigation department in Sana’a, Sultan Zaben.”

Arabia.net site revealed that oil smuggling operations are led by the regime in the region, whether by sea or land, indicating that corruption and smuggling operations are carried out in “codified” ways or through the institutions of the Iraqi state, which raises question marks that must be stopped.

He drew upon leaked documents, showing sockets on the Iraqi state oil marketing company “SOMO”, which is considered the main supervisor of Iraqi oil exports and marketing operations documents that show that “SOMO” company has dealt with Iraqi private banks owned by the Iranians regarding the letters of guarantees to implement a number of Contracts, which are credits opened by the Iraqi Central in these banks, to import oil derivatives to meet local needs (gas oil, gasoline, diesel, white oil, and liquid gas), what is required to secure the hard currency “the dollar.”

The documents revealed that the boards of directors of these banks belong to Iranian businessmen, or owned by individuals who have ties with Iran, which means that Tehran has benefited from these contracts striking the US sanctions, by exporting its oil derivatives to Iraq at a price supported by the Iraqi Central Bank, And obtaining the dollar, and making profits from the currency difference, in what is called a “currency auction,” and financing the private banks for their work with the money of the central bank.
