(2018-03-09) – Mr. Mohammad Meshkin Fam, Managing director of Pars Oil and Gas Company, said during a visit to the South Pars developing plans: “South Pars’s phase 22 platform will be loaded from SADRA’s yard in Bushehr on March 9”. He declared that this year’s winter, South Pars produced 550 million cubic feet per day of gas and maintained that until the middle of the next year, about 2 billion cubic feet per day of sour gas from South Pars field will be added to this amount. CEO of Pars Oil and Gas Company added, while expressing that phases 13, 14, 22 to 24 platforms are ready for loading and installation by one month apart:” it is predicted that till the end of Esfand (March) or maybe next solar year, 14.2 million cubic meters gas will be exploited from 14A platform. Subsequently at intervals of two to three months, another platform called 14C from this phase and also platforms of 13 and 22 to 24 phases, each with capacity of 500 million cubic feet (14.2), will be exploited.” Director of Southern Iran Marine Industrial Company (SADRA), Mr. Alireza Zarei, said: “This 2,500-ton platform is designed and built by SADRA’s Iranian crew. The 20,000-ton berth will carry the platform from Bushehr to the 22nd phase of South Pars in Persian Gulf, and then the platform installation operations will begin”. The South Pars phases 22-24 development plan has been designed to produce 50 million cubic meters of methane per day, 2900 tons of liquefied gas, 2,750 metric tons of ethane, 75,000 barrels of gas condensate and 400 tons of sulfur. A consortium consists of Petro Sina Arya company and SADRA will implement this project.
