The missile program of Iran is a threat to both the countries of Europe and for Russia, the Minister of Ecology and Affairs of Israel, Zeev Elkin, told RIA Novosti.

“When Iran is developing ballistic missiles today, we are talking about missiles that can reach Moscow, not just Tel Aviv,” Elkin begin.

“Today, Iran is developing missiles capable of reaching almost any point in Europe and many points in Russia,” Elkin stated on the sidelines of the SPIEF.

“I don’t think anyone has an interest in a country in which religious Islamic fanatics rule with such missile capabilities, not to mention, in the long term, nuclear warheads on these missiles,” the minister added.

In Iran, they have repeatedly stated that they consider it their natural right to strengthen the defense forces, including in the field of missile technology.
