“Since governments take the right of death over their people, it is not astonishing if the people should sometimes take the right of death over governments.”

These are the words of the famous French author Guy de Maupassant, underlining the right of the people to take their rights.

The Iranian regime’s founder Ruhollah Khomeini claimed victory after killing 120,000 people of Iran and said that the story of resistance in front of this regime is over. Now his successor, Iran’s supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, is confessing about the resistance of the Iranian people in confronting his regime. He confessed that it was the Mojahedin Khalq’s (MEK/PMOI) Resistance Units that sparked protests that caused so much damage and millions of dollars of losses to the regime.

Confession to the strong organized nature of the uprising

The regime has admitted that the impacts are so severe that they can only be the work of an organized and trained force. In a warning to the intelligence and security forces, the state-run newspaper Jomhouri Eslami wrote on 20 November 2019:

“The dimensions of the destruction and evils of the last two days… were so profound and so professional, that they catch the minds, that a trained, well-equipped, financially-sound and information network were behind the events.”

Hossein Ashtari, Iran’s police commander, confessed: “Our investigations indicate that counter-revolutionary organizations and the (Mojahedin MEK/PMOI) are behind the movement. (state-run TV Khabar channel, 17 November 2019)

Speed of the revolution

The speed and intensity of the events surprised the regime. The hostile factions of the regime are in a state of confusion, accusing each other of neglect and unwillingness to suppress the anger of the people.

They attribute this surprise to the lack of a clear picture of the explosive situation of the public and the growth of the MEK’s Resistance Units.

A state-run newspaper pointing to both regime’s factions wrote: “Today is the time that our officials must admit that they have made a serious mistake in analyzing and rooting out what happened in January of 2018… Both political factions showing clear signs, and clear evidence has warned that not only is Iranian society still prone to similar behaviors, but that it will certainly be more violent and more harmful in the next few times.”

Heavy punishment

What happened in the Iranian cities during this period was truly stunning. Yes, it was a heavy punishment on the part of the people and the youth and the MEK’s Resistance Units, that burned hundreds of Basiji bases, police stations, state-affiliated banks and petrol stations, all affiliated with the corrupt and bloodthirsty regime.

Not only are the people confronting the regime forces with empty hands, they are showing the world that a new condition has emerged in the Iranian history, and this uprising will continue until a new free state is formed.

The uprising, sparked by gasoline prices, quickly turned to the people’s main demand, namely the overthrow of the Iranian regime, with slogans of “Death to Khamenei” and “Death to Rouhani”. This shows that Iran is now insecure for the mullahs and the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) and that they can no longer sleep comfortably.

As Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the NCRI said to the Iranian youth:

“Thousands of salutes to you, rebellious youths, who have once again made the people of Iran proud. Your resistance, fighting spirit and unremitting attacks on the enemy have brought them to their knees. Panicked and desperate, the enemy viciously fired a barrage of bullets targeting your heads and chests, which are filled with love.

But you refused to stop. You turned every street and alley into a fortress and a stronghold for uprising and revolution.
Hail to the martyrs, the Iranian people’s heroes. Brave youth and fearless teenagers who terrified the criminal Revolutionary Guard Corps in Shiraz, Mahshahr, Marivan, Karaj, Sirjan, Eslamshahr, Shahriar, Fardis, Ahvaz, Isfahan, and the blood-drenched Behbahan.”
