On May 31, 2011, pled guilty in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois to conspiring to export goods and technology to Iran, and attempting to export defense articles on the United States Munitions List from the United States without a license; facilitated the purchase of three Marconi radio test kits at the request of Iran-based co-defendant Syed Majid Mousavi and subsequently arranged for their shipment to Iran, via Dubai, without the required license; in 2009, with the assistance of co-defendant Andro Telemi, attempted to purchase 10 connector adapters for the TOW and TOW2 missile systems on behalf of Mousavi, and export them to Iran, via Dubai, without the required license.

An Iranian national and resident of Woodland Hills, California; conducted business via Pacific Green Valley, reportedly a California-based import/export company with a parent company in Iran; 38 years old as of May 31, 2011.
