As the factional feud among Iranian regime’s various bands continues, Esfandiar Rahim Mashaei, a close affiliate of the former Iranian regime’s president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, was summoned on Saturday, November 25 to the second interrogation session at Tehran’s Culture and Media Court.

A day earlier, he called the regime’s judiciary deviant and oppressor by publishing a video on the social networks.

Rahim Mashaei threatened that he has recorded another video clip containing disclosure (of the judiciary’s violations and crimes) and would release it if he is arrested.

Meanwhile, Ahmadinejad’s former deputy, Hamid Baghaei, called the judiciary officials “obvious oppressors” in a video while attacking the judiciary

Esfandiar Rahim Mashaei and Hamid Baghaei are facing various charges, including financial charges, in court. They regard the allegations against themselves as political, but the judiciary denies this.

At the same time, a member of the Judiciary and Legal Commission of the Iranian regime parliament has announced a new charge against Hamid Baghaei. According to Mohammad Ali Pour MOkhtar, 3.7 million euros and $530,000 dollars were missing at the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) conference, and this budget was at the disposal of Hamid Baghaei, so the way of spending these resources should be determined.

Iranian regime’s Attorney General, Mohammad Jafar Montazeri, spoke on Sunday November 26 referring to Ahmadinejad as an “outlaw” who has done “a collection of unlawful acts”.

According to the state-run Tasnim news agency affiliated to terrorist Quds force, “The person who has been in charge of the state’s top management for eight years, especially during his second term in office (as president) and has a collection of law-escaping and unlawful acts in his record, now defends the rights of the people,” Montazeri said.

During an interview, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called the judiciary dictator and said: “One of the major violations of the judiciary is transferring the authority (jurisdiction) of various sections of prisons to various security agencies such as the IRGC Intelligence, the Ministry of Intelligence and the Judiciary’s Intelligence Security, and part of the prison was made available to the Prison Authorities.”
