Iranian regime’s police force brutally suppressed gathered Samen-Hujaj depositors in front of various branches of this financial institution in Tehran on Saturday, June 18, 2017.

According to obtained video clips and reports, people were being beaten up with batons, kicks and punches. After that, the law enforcement officers were intimidating with patrol and inspection of people vehicles in different parts of Tehran.

Some reports about bankruptcy of this institution and its merger into other financial institutions were surfaced yesterday, which caused concerned depositors to rush to various branch of this financial entity to claim their deposits. The cooperative financial entity of Samen-Hujaj was with a license of Cooperative Ministry at that time start its operation in 1998 in Mashhad, and according to the official website of the institute, has 600 branches throughout Iran, but didn’t have licenses from Iran’s central bank.
