In an address commemorating the Student Day at Imam Hussein University in Tehran on Sunday, General Pakpour underscored the decisive and critical role advanced technologies play in the conflict, including in intelligence gathering, surveillance, and assault.
“We were on the battlefield against the enemy equipped with the latest technology in the world,” he said in reference to the 12-day Israel-imposed war in June.
Congratulating the students and honoring the memory of the fallen heroes, General Pakpour noted that Iran had not only confronted the Israeli aggression but also effectively fought against the US, Europe, and several other countries that were the backbone of the regime.
He referred to the enemy’s complex planning, saying they had sought to turn the aggression into a full-fledged combined war, thinking that bombing sensitive positions and assassinating top commanders would simultaneously create chaos in Iran, but to no avail, given the immediate restoration of the command structure by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
On the victory against foreign aggressors, General Pakpour said that the enemy, who could not withstand Iranian missile strikes and national unity, finally requested a ceasefire.
The top general emphasized that the enemy now fully understands and has reached the point in their estimates that they would receive a harsher and more crushing response than before if they attempted any new act of aggression against Iran.
