U.S. Congressmen Joe Wilson (R-SC), Brad Sherman (D-CA), Steve Chabot (R-OH), and Tom Suozzi (D-NY) announced that they advocate any move that calls for White House to apply sanctions on al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance and other similar Iraqi Resistance groups for they have American blood on their hands.
According to the report of AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA), four American Congressmen announced that they advocate the bill imposing sanctions on al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance.
The said hostile bill, named “the Iranian Proxies Terrorist Sanctions Act”, makes Islamic Resistance Movements, such as al-Nujaba, subject to economic sanctions as their punishment.
According to the personal page of Joe Wilson (R-SC) on the US Congress website, besides him, Brad Sherman (D-CA), Steve Chabot (R-OH), and Tom Suozzi (D-NY) have announced that they are calling for the White House to apply terrorism sanctions on al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance and other similar Iraqi Resistance Groups.
“These two groups have American blood on their hands and are responsible for over 6,000 attacks against the United States and our coalition forces since 2011”, said Wilson.
“al-Nujaba violate human rights and threaten American troops”, claimed Sherman.
Describing the aforesaid bill as “a highly important legislation”, Steve Chabot said “these groups carry out the orders of the IRGC and Iranian Mullahs”.
Regarding his support for the anti-Nujaba legislation, Tom Suozzi stated, “those Iranian-backed militias groups beholden to Qassem Soleimani and this bipartisan legislation is an important step towards punishing these groups”.
It should be mentioned that if this bill passes the Congress, it calls for the US government to put those groups mentioned within this legislation the target of the sanctions and economic measures.
