Javad and Amin Ashrafi, two engineers at Hamedan’s Power Plant, were detained and have been kept in an unknown location for the past two weeks. According to sources close to their families, the two are under pressure to make forced confessions.
“At 8AM on January 1, security forces beat and abducted the two without an arrest warrant and took them to an unknown location”, an informed source said.
According to reports, Javan and Amin said in a short call that they had been interrogated for hours while being put under various psychological pressure and beaten to confess to what interrogators wanted.
Their families have gone to Hamedan Prison and the Revolutionary Court during the past few days but have not received any answers.
