Iranian police killed Hossein Maleki, a 27-year-old Kurdish civilian, on Baharan Boulevard in the city of Qods, Tehran province, on 8 April.

“On Saturday, 8 April, the civilian got into a verbal argument with several police officers who questioned him on Baharan Boulevard in the city of Qods. After the verbal argument, one of the officers shot him from a distance of a few meters for no reason”, an informed source told the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN).

According to the source, Maleki was killed during the shooting and his body was returned to his family on 10 April.

Maleki came from Harsin, Kermanshah province, and was a resident of the city of Qods.
