Fearful of another uprising, Ali Khamenei continues to operate his unrelenting execution and killing machine, hanging more prisoners every day.
On Monday, May 8, regime agents executed a prisoner in Dezful prison for killing an SSF (State Security Force) officer. The same day, three other prisoners, including two fellow Baluchs, Yunus Rigi Rakhshani, and Yaser Rakhshani, were hanged in Adelabad and Zahedan prisons, respectively, and Mohammad Ahmadi was executed in Isfahan prison. This brings the total number of prisoners executed on May 8 to seven, including the two prisoners executed the day before in Arak.
The Iranian Resistance is once again calling on the United Nations, its member states, and human rights defenders to take immediate action to save the lives of prisoners facing execution. Silence and inaction against a regime with a history of executions is a flagrant disregard for universally recognized human rights values.
