Satellite imagery shows an Iranian rocket launch could be imminent. The purpose would be to launch satellites into space, but that same long-range ballistic technology could also allow Tehran to launch nuclear warheads and other weapons.
Behnam Ben Taleblu, senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, said these kinds of tests help the regime inch towards longer range strike capabilities that could allow Iran to send a nuclear warhead to the United States.
He said reconfigured technology could provide Iran a significant boost in range for its missile program.
