The European Union has privately warned the Iranian regime that it will be forced to start withdrawing from the nuclear deal in November if Tehran goes ahead with its threat to take new steps away from the deal.

Iran’s regime has already taken three separate calibrated steps away from the deal. On Thursday, a new report by the United Nations nuclear watchdog said the Iranian regime has committed another breach of its nuclear deal with major powers by enriching uranium with advanced centrifuges. The regime has also threatened to take the fourth step away from the deal in November.

The EU warning to Tehran, pre-agreed by the three EU signatories to the 2015 deal, was made at a meeting on Wednesday and makes clear that the agreement is now on life support.

The EU told the Iranian regime that it would put the issue of Iranian non-compliance into the agreement’s formal dispute mechanism if the next Iranian move away from the deal is significant.

Once the deal’s dispute mechanism is triggered, both sides have 30 days to prove significant non-compliance, and, if necessary, world-wide sanctions snap-back occurs.

U.S. Senator Tom Cotton reacted to the regime’s latest nuclear breaches in a statement on Thursday: “While President Rouhani glad-handed world leaders at the U.N. General Assembly, his nuclear scientists were ramping up the regime’s uranium enrichment using advanced centrifuges. I urge our European allies to recognize the ayatollahs’ deceit and join us in snapping back sanctions on this murderous regime.”

The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has repeatedly stated that procuring or obtaining nuclear weapons is a key pillar of the Iranian regime’s survival strategy.

Indeed, were it not for the Iranian Resistance’s stunning revelation of the Natanz uranium enrichment site and Arak heavy water facility in August 2002, and subsequent revelations, which unveiled the extent to which the regime’s clandestine nuclear weapons work had advanced, and which triggered inspections by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and ensuing measures by the United Nations Security Council, the mullahs would have had the bomb by now and the fate of the Middle East and the world would not be the same.

The NCRI has made clear Iran’s regime must not be allowed to carry out any uranium enrichment, and its nuclear projects must be entirely dismantled.
