Houthi politician Sheikh Sultan Al-Samie, a member of the Supreme Political Council, said in a September 22, 2019 interview on Al-Alam TV (Iran) that the Houthis have a list of very important targets in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. He said that the Houthis can cripple Saudi Arabia and the UAE if they do not stop their aggression in Yemen, and he explained that the target lists include electric grids, desalination plants, and other targets. Sheikh Al-Samie said that one rocket can cause all of the investors in the “Emirates of Glass” to run away with their money, and he said that the Houthis are preparing to strike a well-known and vital target in Saudi Arabia.

Sheikh Sultan Al-Samie: It is well known that [the Saudi-led coalition] bombs women and children, but we have a [list] of important targets. The economies of Saudi Arabia and the countries of the aggression will be totally crippled, Allah willing, if they do not incline toward peace. Yes, we have a [list] of very important targets, such as the electricity grids, the desalination plants, and other targets that we will not disclose for now.

If they continue with their aggression… The UAE is known as “The Emirates of Glass.” One rocket will cause all the investors in Dubai to run away and pull out their money. They will return to how they were 50 years ago. The targets that we are preparing to strike in Saudi Arabia are well known, and this will take their economy back decades. Saudi Arabia has become the laughing stock of its people and the whole world. We have made a mockery out of their former prestige.
