According to IHR sources, at least four prisoners were executed on Wednesday, October 2, 2019.
Hamid Sheikhi and Mohammadreza Ghanbari had been sentenced to death for murder charges. Hossein Roshan and Mohsen Kounani had been sentenced to death for Moharebeh (waging war against God) by armed robbery.
Their executions have not been announced by Iranian authorities or media so far.
At least 110 people were executed in Iran in the first half of 2019.
