(13 February 2018) – One of the senior officials of Germany`s Bosch Auto Spare parts company announced that the company sought to expand its business in Iran and its priority was to domestic production in the country.

The official said at the 5th International Conference on Iranian Automotive Industry, “I am proud that working in Iran as a representative of Bosch company”.

Stating that Bosch has been cooperating with his Iranian partners for many years, he added, “The first Bosch representative office was opened in Iran in 1924 and the first contract with Iranian automotive maker was signed in 1971”.

The official explained, “The company was forced to leave Iran in 2006 because of imposing the sanctions against the country but the year after following the implementation of nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), Bosch went back to Iran and established a new firm, Bosch Tejarat Pars”.

“Currently, the company has cooperation with 55 firms in Iran and seeks to expand its activities in the region,” he added.
