Iran’s former ambassador to Iraq, Iraj Masjedi, has been appointed as deputy coordinator of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Report informs via the IRGC’s Telegram channel.

It is stated that Iraj Masjedi will serve as the coordinating deputy in IRGC’s Jerusalem branch.

According to information, he will replace Hadi Haji-Rahimi, who died six weeks ago as a result of Israel’s attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus.
