IRGC commander-in-chief General Hossein Salami elaborated on Iranian naval clashes with Israel, Britian, and the United States in an address during President Masoud Pezeshkian’s visit to the joint headquarters for Iran’s armed forces. He claimed that in response to Israeli attacks against Iranian ships in the Mediterranean and Red Sea, Iran had targeted 12 Israeli ships in the Northern Indian Ocean and elsewhere. Salami said that Israel surrendered after the fifth ship was hit, and the naval conflict was over.
