Assistant Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps, Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Naqdi, stated in an exclusive interview with Al Mayadeen that the perceived victory of the Zionists and Americans in advancing a few meters in Gaza is nothing but a delusion.
Naqdi insisted that as the Israelis advance in Gaza, they are essentially digging their own graves and will struggle to withdraw from the battlefield. He further emphasized that the Palestinian Resistance would deliver impactful lessons and strikes that would be unforgettable to the invading Israeli forces.
Highlighting the recent weeks, Naqdi noted that the world has just witnessed the true nature of the US, as they have effectively buried the Western civilization they once boasted about through their support for “Israel” and its countless crimes in Gaza.
Basij Cmdr: Struggle in Palestine against US and hegemony
In a separate statement to Al Mayadeen, the Assistant Commander of the Iranian Basij [mobilization] forces, Brigadier General Hossein Maroufi, affirmed that the ongoing struggle in Palestine, especially in Gaza, is not against the Zionists but against the United States and the hegemonic system.
Brigadier General Naqdi underscored that what is striking in Gaza is the unwavering backing the Palestinian Resistance receives from its support base, specifying that this is the primary cause of the Israeli enemy’s frustration.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Maroufi praised the Palestinian Resistance factions, crediting them with successfully humiliating the American administration and the Zionist entity. He pointed out that the Resistance in Gaza, operating independently, takes charge of the course of the battle and has succeeded in doing so wisely.
In the same context, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Nasser Kanaani addressed, on November 13, the unfounded anti-Iran accusations by US officialsm and emphasized that regional Resistance groups operate independently of Iran.
In a recent press conference in Tehran, Kanaani outlined Iran’s priorities since the start of the Israeli war on Gaza, focusing on ceasing the aggression, lifting the blockade, facilitating humanitarian aid, and opposing the forced displacement of the Palestinians in the Strip.
